What each one is for
| Type II anodizing | Class 1 and 2. A thin 0.1 to 0.4 mil oxide coating for corrosion resistance, electrical insulation and a decorative finish on aluminum. Clear, dyed and metallic tones. |

| Type III hardcoat | A harder, smoother aluminum oxide surface for wear and corrosion resistance. |
| Chem film | Hexavalent-chromium-free conversion coating on a trivalent chromium chemistry, for aluminum and castings, or as a base for paint, powder or adhesives. |
| Manganese phosphate | Retains oil and lubricants on wear surfaces. |
| Batch powder coat | Oversized booths and ovens for pieces up to 15 m. UL-1332 listing available. |
| Sheet metal powder coat | Powder coat lines for sheet metal parts and assemblies. |
| Blast and liquid paint | Shot blast and paint lines. Sandblast and paint booths about 6 x 6 x 20 m. |
| High-performance coatings | High-solids epoxy and polyurethane systems for extreme weather and aggressive chemicals. |
| Hot-dip galvanizing | Available through our network. |
| Architectural finishes | Standard RAL powder colors, textured and metallic powders, wood-grain sublimation, anodized natural, gold and black, and weathering steel patina. |
Anodizing tanks run to about 4 m long. Tell us your part size and specification and we will confirm the right line. Equipment, capacities and certifications belong to shops in our partner network and vary by shop. MX Maven manages the work on your behalf as your single point of contact.
